Hot Rodder Magazine Locations – Fallout 4

The three base-game Hot Rodder magazines unlock the Flames, Shark and Hot Pink paint schemes for Power Armour. Applying one scheme to every piece of a complete suit also grants +1 Agility.

A fourth Racing Stripes issue comes from optional Creation Club content and is outside the scope of this guide.

Issue #1 — Flame Job!

Location: Robotics Disposal Ground

Unlocks: Hot Rod Flames Power Armour paint

How to get it

  1. Enter the small concrete building at the Robotics Disposal Ground.
  2. Find the desk with the terminal inside.
  3. The magazine is on the desk beside the terminal.

Issue #2 — Shark Paint Schemes!

Location: Atom Cats Garage

Unlocks: Hot Rod Shark Power Armour paint

How to get it

  1. Travel to Atom Cats Garage and find Zeke’s trailer.
  2. Enter the trailer and look beside the bed.
  3. It is on the bedside table.

Issue #3 — Hot Pink!

Location: Milton parking garage, west of Milton General Hospital

Unlocks: Hot Rod Hot Pink Power Armour paint

How to get it

  1. Enter the parking garage west of Milton General Hospital, near West Roxbury Station.
  2. Work through the garage to the top-floor sleeping area.
  3. Collect the magazine beside the table and bed, near the prize cells.
